Bruna's body was found in her home tied up and with stab wounds. A suspect has been arrested.
Another homicide in Jeremoabo, Bahia, has the air of tragedy. On the morning of Thursday the 17th, transgender woman Bruna, whose legal name was [deadname] França, 46, was found dead after being stabbed.
According to the Military Police, the call was made after neighbors noticed no movement in the house, already suspicious due to an argument overheard the night before. Upon entering the property, they found the victim lying in one of the bedrooms, tied up and with injuries all over her body.
The suspect is a young man with whom the victim had a turbulent relationship, according to neighbors. Around noon today, he was arrested and taken to the police station to give a statement after being found at the street market.
Bruna, worked in the previous administration as a street cleaner at the Municipal Government of Jeremoabo BA.
The Police are already working on the case and investigations are ongoing.
