Titli died after being shot by unidentified assailants. After her family refused to accept her body her funeral was organised by an LGBT+ community organisation.
A transgender person lost [her] life when unidentified persons opened fire on [her] in Peshawar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The tragic incident occurred in Siddique Colony in the jurisdiction of Gulbahar Police Station in Peshawar. The deceased identified as [deadname] was a resident of Swat.
Soon after the incident, all the accused escaped from the scene. Police established barricades at many places and started a search operation to apprehend the accused.
