The victim's body was found with signs of violence floating in a creek. Their identity is not known, but news reports suggest they may have been transmasculine.
Police and local officials said the body bore multiple stab wounds, including two in the chest, one in the side, and another in the forehead.
A [person] was found floating dead with wounds to her chest, side, and forehead in a creek in Barangay Dela Paz, Antipolo City.
In a report by EJ Gomez on Unang Balita on Thursday, it was said that residents found the victim's body on Wednesday.
The [official] said the body was washed ashore near the Bocobo Bridge, prompting the response of Barangay Dela Paz guards, Antipolo Rescue, police, and SOCO.
“...when we pulled it out, we saw that it was a [trans person]. It looked like [they] had a girdle around [their] chest,” said Renaldo Sagun, the security guard of Barangay Dela Paz.
The victim was wearing a black t-shirt, shorts, and socks. “When they laid [them] down, we saw the wounds on [their] chest, two. Then one on [their] side. It looked like [they] had been stabbed,” said Sagun.
The victim also had a wound on [their] forehead.
