Nubia's body was found showing signs of violence by her daughter in her home.
A transgender woman was found dead inside her home, located at the intersection of Calamar and Vetano, in the El Mármol neighborhood, in Ciudad Juárez. The body was found by the victim's daughter, who reported that, upon entering the house, she found her mother in one of the bedrooms, next to the bed, and with visible signs of violence, so she immediately reported it to the authorities through the emergency number 911.
Members of the Municipal Public Security Secretariat arrived at the scene and confirmed the death of the woman, identified as Nubia IT, 34 years old. In addition, experts gathered evidence to begin the corresponding investigation, which could be related to the victim's sexual orientation.
So far, authorities have not released any further information related to the incident; more details are expected in the coming hours.
