Jullyana was shot dead by a client.
A 40-year-old trans woman was shot dead on Thursday night (8), in Feira de Santana, the second largest city in Bahia. According to the Civil Police, the crime occurred after a client refused to pay for a service.
The victim was identified as Jullyana Freitas Leite. She was found dead around 10 PM in a house on Rua Los Angeles in the Parque Getúlio Vargas neighborhood.
According to preliminary investigations, Jullyana rented rooms in the property to meet clients and received a man around 8 pm. After the encounter, the suspect refused to pay for the service. To ensure she received the money, the victim kept the client's cell phone. He left the premises saying he would get the money.
Minutes later, the man returned armed, shot Jullyana, and fled on a motorcycle. The suspect's cell phone was left at the scene and seized by the police. Two of the victim's cell phones and a car parked in front of the residence were also collected. (g1)
