The body of a trans woman, of whom no further details are known so far, was found in the city of Cuernavaca; the victim presented a firearm impact to the head.
Although the State Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation folder for the crime of femicide, Miguel Angel Urrutia Lozano, Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection of Morelos, issued a series of transphobic comments about the gender identity of the victim in an interview with local media.
